We just had our 5th annual Christmas Open House this past Saturday and as always it was a success! We want to thank everyone that came to our event. We also want to thank our loyal customers for sticking with us throughout the crazy times 2020 and 2021 has brought us. We are still expecting more Christmas items to be delivered in December, so make sure to come back for that. We have been through a lot trying to get in our Christmas items for the store this year. There is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes on to run any business. We work countless hours to put new items on the shelves almost daily. If you come in the store and see boxes on the floor, just know that we are working hard to get those items out to you. If you drive past the store and see our trashcan overflowing, come on in because that means we are putting out all kinds of things. With all of that being said, we do thank you for being patient with us while we try to make your Holidays the best they can be. We love you all and we wish you an early Merry Christmas.
As we come into the new year, we reminisce on the years past. In 2017, Mountain Holiday opened with few things on the shelves but has expanded to become the beloved store it is today. We strive to make sure each of our customers are happy with their purchases and we want everyone to feel important when they step into the store. Cam has always said that there is a special spot in the store right in front of the counter. If anyone needs to laugh, cry, rant, or just feel like they have someone to talk to, Mountain Holiday’s store front is the place to come. There is a certain feeling you get when you stand at the front of the store and talk to Beth about anything and everything. We love celebrating your successes with you and we will mourn any losses with you as well. We have a desire to make you feel like family here at the store. We want Mountain Holiday to be a place that feels like a second home, a place that you can find the perfect gift, the place that you can come to when you need a break from reality. We make sure to have a variety of products to ensure that you will find just what you need. When the weather warms up at our house we love to get outside and just take it all in, the sights, the smells, the sounds. Spring is a great time and it’s not always about filling the days with activities, sometimes its just relaxing out by the pool or the backyard. These spring days often serve as a solace from the world, allowing us to recharge. If you close your eyes (after you finish reading this blog) and imagine the sounds, birds chirping, lawn mowers running, sprinklers spraying, you hear spring sounds galore. But the one that sticks out the most at our house is the sound of our wind chimes. In our backyard oasis we have several different sizes and colors of wind chimes, but there is only one brand for us, Corinthian Bells.

During all of that time we have left them outside and only took them down for two hurricanes systems that came through our area.
